Election Eve

T'was the night before the elections and all through the house
all the parties were a stirring even the mouse.

Brother Tom says for McCain and Palin he sees nothin but clear sailing
and even Aunt Jayne wants Johnny McCain
but Uncle Neal won't whimper he's not gonna reveal

And Sis is a bliss with Mama because they both want Obama

Cousin Pete thinks republicans will be certain to repeat
While Grandma LuLu thinks they will be losing many a house seat

But Dad says, Hey! screw them all I'm not voting for no one this Fall.

Hilarious! I hope you were able to watch last night, it was a bit of history I am glad I got to see. Or maybe you went to Grant Park? It's a little far for me to go, but I would have loved to have been there.

All this election has proven is that corruption and money trump integrity every time. Mr. “Game-Changer” showed that he has no more character than the creeps on Capitol Hill. For a guy who so loudly opposed the "trickle-down" theory of economics, he certainly didn't mind abandoning his promise to stay away from corporate funding in this election. He received a whole bunch of corporate trickle which enabled him to outspend McCain (who stuck to his word) by hundreds of millions of dollars on advertising, flooding the airwaives in key battleground states with up to four times as many ads as the GOP. I guess the evils of TDE only apply to the other guy, huh Barry?

Obama's no different than anyone else, as you will soon see. But, hey, what can I say? Love is blind, isn’t it?

Dear Brad,

You may be right, but I think that you have to admit we (Americans) have taken a beating the last 8 years. Lets at least give this guy (Obama) a chance at the job. Don't forget he's inheriting two wars, and 10 trillion in debts, not to mention a recession.
Stay in touch. I always want to hear every ones view points.
